Operation
- Spring set friction brake is engaged by spring pressure at a fixed torque and releases with the application of designated air pressure
Mounting
- Spring set brake mounts between a c-face motor and gear reducer
- Not suitable for belt or chain drive (pulley or sprocket output) applications. Consult engineering for options
- Spring set brakes are designed for horizontal mounting. If vertical mounting is required, consult engineering for options
Applications
- Spring set brakes are designed for Stopping and Holding applications
- Maximum RPM varies by model. Please consult the detail sheets (below). Consult engineering if the intended application exceeds the listed maximum RPM.
